The Inland Northwest Gay Bowling League (INWGBL) is a fully sanctioned United States Bowling Conference league and a member of the International Gay Bowling Organization. We are an inclusive league who invite all Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgender, Questioning and Allied community to join us.
Where does the league meet?
We bowl at North Bowl Lanes, 125 W. Sinto Avenue, Spokane, WA. We bowl every Sunday afternoon at 12:30 to 2:30pm from September through April (excluding Holiday weeks). Summer bowling is also available.
Who bowls in our league?
All gay friendly are welcome to bowl in our Gay/Lesbian league. Teams consist of men and women and any combination with a minimum of 3 persons per team.
Do you have to be a good bowler to join INWGBL?
NO, absolutely not! Our members are of all different bowling abilities. Yes, some bowl very well, while others... lets say, come for fun, which is encouraged by our organization! We use handicap scoring.
How much does it cost to bowl in your league?
The cost of bowling is less that $15.00 per week. That pays for 3 games of bowling, ball and shoe rental and other special events throughout the season. Members pay a minimal sanction fee annually to the USBC and INWGBL pays for your annual IGBO membership so members can bowl at all national Gay bowling tournaments. Last year several INWGBL members traveled to Seattle for a fun weekend tournament and we hope to invite teams from Seattle and Portland to join us in Spokane soon!
